A Scotsman, an American and a South African walked into a bar…and together agreed that they needed good beer. Fast. So, they opened a brewery-The Franschhoek Beer Company no less. And then they needed somewhere to dine together. So, they opened a restaurant. And not just any restaurant. This is Franks Corner Bar and Grill. Where we stand firm on quality fresh ingredients prepared with skill crafted over many years, the finest house-brewed beers and seltzers and last but certainly not least, heartfelt Franschhoek hospitality.

With a background steeped in culinary innovation and a passion for crafting extraordinary dishes, Aviv brings a fresh perspective to every plate. Drawing inspiration from both traditional techniques and contemporary trends, Aviv’s creations at Franks Corner tantalise taste buds and leave a lasting impression on every guest. Aviv is a true asset and stalwart in South Africa’s culinary scene. He’s worked with mentor and serial restaurateur Reuben Riffel at both Reuben’s One&Only and at The Small Robertson Hotel and more recently as a business partner in Let’s Frite-also a Franschhoek favourite.

Definitely the best restaurant in Franschhoek. The steaks are getting continuous rave reviews, highly recommend mussels, corn dogs, seafood pasta and the cacio e pepe, prawn tostada, tuna tataki, baba ghanoush, pork chop, burgers and the now famous sole! Great service, great wine list, best craft beers, seltzers, gin, cocktails.. great outdoor seating.
